A woman barricaded herself in her home and made threats during a confrontation with police in Speke.

Officers called the home on East Millwood Road Tuesday afternoon to speak to the woman who lived there.

When they arrived, she refused to let them into her home and barricaded the door.

He then began making threats when police lifted a cordon on the road and more emergency services were called to the scene.

Photographs taken at the scene showed a fire truck and several police cars inside the blue tape outside the home.

The incident lasted until around 6.30 p.m. M. When the agents tried to talk to the woman and convince her to leave her home.

He eventually left the property, but it is not yet clear whether any arrests were made in connection with the incident.

A Merseyside police spokesman said: “Officers went to an address on East Millwood Road to speak with the occupant, who refused to allow them entry and began making threats.

“Road closures were established and emergency services attended.”
