President Trump’s attorney, Rudi Giuliani, tried to convince one of his witnesses who claimed to have witnessed electoral fraud at a two-day hearing in Michigan.
One of Rudy Giuliani’s witnesses who spoke at the Michigan House of Representatives Oversight Committee hearing on Wednesday claimed that he saw poll workers passing the ballots through voting machines “thousands of times.”
Melissa Carone claimed to have worked as a contractor for Dominion Voting System. At one point during the hearing, a state representative, Steve Johnson, said he should testify under oath.
But in response, he said he “had an affidavit.”
‘I am a mother, I have two children, I have two titles. I don’t know of any woman in the world who can write an affidavit just to write it. You can go to prison for this, ‘he said.
She also spoke repeatedly about the lawmaker, raising her voice, at which point Giuliani was seen leaning in and appearing to “shut her up.”
During Wednesday’s hearing, former Dominion contractor Melissa Carone claimed she had seen photos of boxes with votes taken from a warehouse.
Carone’s affidavit was included in the Michigan lawsuit that Trump’s team filed in hopes of stopping Wayne County’s voter certification, the Daily Beast reports.
Not only did a judge deny the request, but the same judge said that Carone’s allegations “were simply not credible.”
Carone explained during the hearing that while working as a contractor, the workers were transferred to a facility called the “Chicago warehouse,” where he witnessed most of the alleged fraud.
“I know for a fact that illegal activity was taking place there,” Carone said at the hearing, claiming that people had “photographs” of boxes taken from the warehouse.
At one point during the hearing, Carone had a tense exchange with Republican Rep. Steve Johnson when he questioned some of his allegations. He repeatedly referenced an affidavit he signed as a means of giving credence to his allegations.

The woman’s comments follow a series of embarrassing moments that have plagued Giuliani’s efforts to tip the election in favor of President Donald Trump by claiming there was massive voter fraud in the elections.
Another witness detained by Giuliani claimed that “all Chinese are alike” when he advocates for a voter identification requirement in the state.
‘The other representative said that you can actually show up and vote without ID, it’s shocking. How can you allow that to happen? ‘The unidentified witness reflected during the hearing in Lansing.
“Many people think that all Indians are alike, I think that all Chinese are alike, so how would you put it?”
The comment prompted light laughter from others in the room before the woman continued her point.
“If a child appears, you can be anyone and you can vote. And if someone with my name can’t even say my name, anyone can vote on my behalf. So identification must be the basic requirement ”, he concluded.
