Bad Girls Club star Whitney Collings has died at age 33.
According to TMZ.com, the television star passed away in a hospital near his hometown of Boston on Thursday morning.
Whitney’s heartbroken mother confirmed the sad loss in a Facebook post.
She wrote: “I am completely broken and I will never get over this. Life is so unfair. She was kind and had a big heart.”
Whitney was known for her role on Bad Girls Club and appeared in 12 episodes of the show in 2008 when she was 21 years old.
The reality show ran for more than a decade, from 2006 to 2017 and featured a group of women living together.
Whitney was nicknamed “Straight Shooter” and was kicked out of the house after a heated feud with fellow star Amber Meade.
Bad Girls Club followed a group of women who considered themselves ‘bad girls’.
On the show where the girls lived in the same house, there were often dramatic altercations that sometimes turned physical.
Whitney’s friends took to social media to leave a heartfelt tribute to the star.
One of those who commented was Amber Meade, who said: “I am glad that we were able to overcome the differences we had so many years ago. My condolences to those who knew Whitney and are feeling the loss today!”
Amber and season 2 star Tanisha Thomas also spoke about Whitney’s death on Instagram.
Tanisha said that she is “speechless”.
Amber added, “This is pretty crazy, I can’t believe she’s gone, her poor mom!”
After the show ended, Whitney is believed to have moved to Florida and was working for a vaping company.
In March this year, she was arrested for resisting an officer without violence, it is claimed.
The last season of Bad Girls Club aired in 2017.
