The British seem to be ready for a warm and sunny weekend after enduring days of torrential rain, thunder and hail.
The Met Office is forecasting highs of 16 and 17 ° C in the UK on Saturday and Sunday, while next week it could hit 20 ° C, as things “improve quite slowly” in the early stages of the summer.
Weather maps show a warm front creeping into southern England on Saturday, with Sunday temperatures rising even higher.

Met Office forecaster Emma Falter said The Sun: “It seems that it will generally improve quite slowly.
