N’GOLO KANTE left fans stumped during Chelsea’s 2-1 loss to the Wolves after catching a throw-in.
The Blues blew a 1-0 lead when Pedro Neto scored a last-gasp win for the hosts at Molineux.
But the strangest moment came with 15 minutes on the clock.
Chasing all three points, Kante apparently completely forgot how to play soccer.
Mason Mount threw in from the left and aimed at Kante, the Englishman ready to move on.
But the France star strangely caught the ball, the Wolves players quickly protested and a free kick was awarded to the hosts.
It was unclear what prompted Kante to catch the ball, although some spectators claimed he heard a whistle.

Olivier Giroud had earlier given Chelsea a head start to keep their red-hot streak alive.
But Daniel Podence drew Frank Lampard’s team without an advantage in the second half.
And Neto would continue to snatch all three points for the Wolves as he finished off a lightning strike home with his left foot passing Edouard Mendy’s extended arms.
The defeat meant that Chelsea lost a chance to reach the top of the Premier League after Tottenham and Liverpool lost points over the weekend.
Blues boss Lampard later reflected on the game and said he was “very disappointed” after losing three points.
Lampard told Amazon Prime: “We should watch the game at 1-0.
“If you’re not playing well, don’t allow counterattacks and we did.
“Performance is what pays off. We were playing very well and maybe the guys will think ‘we’re playing well.’
“When you think you’re playing well, things like this happen.
“This is the Premier League. If you don’t act, you lose games.”
