The January transfer window opens next week and reports claim that Tottenham Hotspur has already decided on its first move.
According to Football Insider, the Spurs will grant Jack Clarke permission to go on loan next month and play regular football for the second half of the season.
Furthermore, the report states that José Mourinho believes it will be beneficial for Clarke’s development to be loaned out again despite frustrating spells at Leeds United and QPR in the 2019/20 campaign.
The 20-year-old, who arrived in North London in the summer of 2019, barely appeared in any of the aforementioned championship clubs last season and returned to Spurs before the new term.

However, the return of Gareth Bale has pushed the forward even further down the pecking order.
Not only is he fighting Bale, but Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura, Steven Bergwijn and Erik Lamela are also options to play open in Mourinho’s favorite 4-2-3-1 system.
That said, Clarke finally made his Spurs debut in the Europa League group stage win over LASK on matchday one.
And the young man was delighted that Mourinho had given him a chance.
“It’s a moment that I’ve been waiting for, something I’ve been working for and I’m happy that the coach has shown faith in me and put me on the field,” Clarke said.
“When you have a coach who has worked with some of the best players in the world, for him to show faith in me, it’s just a huge push for me and it makes me feel like I want to do better and improve every day.
“Ultimately, every minute counts in football, it wouldn’t matter if I had played the whole game or a few minutes, it’s still a special moment for me.
