Three areas in the Bristol region have Covid-19 infection rates above 400, which could prevent our city from going off the stricter measures.
Ministers will announce whether Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire will remain at Level 3 tomorrow (Dec 16)
Last week, Health Secretary Matt Hancock praised Bristol twice for our rapidly falling rates.
Bristol City Council has also confirmed that our hospital admissions have been declining, although pressures continue to be on the local NHS.
But three areas in Bristol, or near its borders, still have worryingly high infections.

An interactive map published by the Government illustrates the prevalence of the virus in each area of the region during the last seven days.
It reveals that Westbury-on-Trym, Congresbury and Kewstoke and Bradley Stoke Central still have rates above 400, where the virus is spreading much faster than the national average.
The rate is expressed per 100,000 people.

Most of Bristol is now even in green or blue colors, which means the cases are below the crucial 200 rate.
Ministers are expected to announce level changes early tomorrow morning.
