Three people have been found dead on a property in Failsworth.

Paramedics called police to Oldham Road in response to a report of concern for well-being at 3.30pm Monday.

Officers attended and three people were pronounced dead at the scene, a GMP spokesman said.

Their deaths are being treated as inexplicable and investigations continue.

Vehicles of police, firefighters and ambulances were photographed at the scene Monday night.

A front yard was also taped up.

Investigators at the crime scene were also photographed.

An earlier alert on the Inrix traffic website read: “Police incident on A62 Oldham Road at Old Road.

“Traffic is adapting well.

“Confirmed that it is not an accident, but there is an ongoing incident at a property.”

A police spokesperson said: “At 3.30pm on Monday, December 28, 2020, paramedics called police in response to a report of welfare concern on Oldham Road, Failsworth.

“Officers attended.

“Sadly, three people were pronounced dead at the scene.

“Their deaths are being treated as inexplicable. Investigations continue.
