Named and embarrassed on a map, these are all the areas of Greater Manchester where people have risked lives by ignoring the coronavirus blocking rules.

The map produced by the police reveals that people in all 10 districts are guilty.

Unbelievably, almost 500 parties in the house have been reported to the police.

The men. It has revealed that some had DJs, bouncy castles, and even fireworks displays.

And 166 ‘street parties’ have also been reported, Greater Manchester Police revealed when the force launched a new ‘stay home’ campaign.

A lot of famous faces have recorded video messages.

The red dots show where people gather for sports activities. In green, these are the areas where there have been house parties. Light blue shows outdoor gatherings that are not for sports. In dark brown, this is where the police have found a street party. The bright pink shows incidents of antisocial behavior found by the police.

The blockade to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus and protect the NHS officially began on March 23.

But the statistics and the police map cover a period from March 25 to April 7, meaning that the embarrassing numbers could be even higher.

Municipality by municipality, the map traces all reports to the police of groups of people who gather for sports, house parties, park gatherings, and street parties.

It also reveals cases of antisocial behavior or disorder related to the Covid-19 blockade.

Stay home and save lives.

Police said that while most of the public has followed the guidelines since they went into effect, last weekend “it saw a sharp increase in the number of COVID-19 violations.

And with the festive Easter weekend and the warm, sunny skies, there is a fear that vital messages will continue to be ignored.

The government is expected to extend restrictions to combat the spread of the coronavirus beyond next week, according to multiple reports.

At least 331 people have died in Greater Manchester hospitals from the Covid-19 virus, figures released on Wednesday revealed.

The number of deaths in the region increased by 52 in 24 hours, the largest daily increase in deaths recorded since the pandemic began.

The map shows a total of 1,132 incidents reported in Greater Manchester, including 494 home parties, 166 street parties, 122 group meetings for sports activities, 173 park meetings, and 112 incidents of antisocial behavior or public disorder linked to closure restrictions.

A woman has been accused of failing to comply with the Coronavirus Law after police said officers were called multiple times to report a party in Bury.

GMP Police Chief Ian Hopkins said: “We understand the desire people will have to spend time with family and friends during the Easter period.

“However, it is vital that we follow the government’s guidelines.

“We must do this to protect ourselves, our families, our communities and the NHS by preventing the spread of this highly contagious infection.

“I would encourage everyone to enjoy at home with their loved ones, but don’t socialize beyond the immediate people they live with.

“Don’t participate in other social gatherings inside or outside, no matter how big or small it is.

“We are trying to involve, explain and encourage everyone to follow the government’s guidance.

“However, when people do not comply with the guidelines, we will use the legislative powers. We hope that such actions are not necessary and that the public works with us during this difficult time.

“GMP and other emergency services are doing their best to play our part in protecting you and your loved ones, but we need to get through this together, as a community.

“Therefore, we ask that you do your part as well and follow the government’s instructions.

“We would like to thank the vast majority who continue to comply with these measures, but each and every one of us must take this seriously.”
