Strictly Come Dancing 2020’s Bill Bailey has dedicated his win to the dancing dads of Great Britain following his win on Saturday night.
In a new interview, the 55-year-old comedian, who became the series’ oldest champion, said he identifies with “ all the guys in their 40s and 50s’ ‘while urging them to “ not give give up ” in his dreams.
The actor also revealed that his professional partner Oti Mabuse, 30, could be the ‘creative director’ of his upcoming comedy tour En Route To Normal, which will take him to stages across the UK this coming December.

The Never Mind the Buzzcocks star said in a passionate statement: “This tells all guys in their 40s or 50s’ Don’t give up.” You can get up and dance. You can do more than you can imagine.

On Oti’s offer to choreograph his stand-up shows, Bill joked with The Mirror: ‘Yeah, she said,’ I’ll do your dance on the next tour and I’ll be your creative director. ‘

On Sunday night, Oti took to social media to pay tribute to Bill, the crew members and her husband Marius Iepure in a sweet post after their triumph.
The TV star hailed musician Bill as his new ‘best friend’ when he wrote: ‘A magical night. I can’t find the words to describe how grateful I am.
“ At the beginning of the year, my goal was to humiliate myself with everything that I experienced this year and the boy closed my year on the highest with the best friend I made on @billbaileyofficial, but we did not achieve it alone. ”
Oti continued to express her gratitude to the show’s makeup artists and stylists, before congratulating her fellow finalists.
