There was heartbreak for a couple on Sunday night as they were fired from Strictly Come Dancing just before the finale.
It has been a drama series for the hit BBC show, with Bruno missing in action Nicola Adams and Katya Jones having to withdraw from the competition after Katya tested positive for coronavirus and a series of surprising results.
And unfortunately for Good Morning Britain star Ranvir Singh, after landing between the latter two for the first time, it was she and fellow pro Giovanni Pernice who were sent home by the judges.
The pair had two dances to perform on Saturday and while they scored an impressive 26/30 for their waltz with two 9s and one 8 from the judges, things went downhill with their Jive al Candyman from Christina Aguilera who only scored 18, including solo a 5 from Craig Revel-Horwood.
They were joined in the final dance of Strictly 2020 by Jamie Laing and Karen Hauer, who tied with Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse after their two dances on Saturday.
After both couples repeated one of their dances, Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel-Horwood and Motsi Mabuse decided who made it to the final next week and who got lost.
Craig, after stumbling over his words, went for Jamie and after Motsi leaned for Ranvir, Shirley had to use her casting vote and used it to save Jamie and Karen, saying they had a little more determination and desire to win the trophy.
Before Saturday’s live show, the bookies had Made in Chelsea star Jamie as the big favorite to go home, with HRVY and Bill as favorites to win.
