A second contestant received his I’m a Celebrity marching orders after viewers at home again gave their opinion on Sunday night.
Campmates were in shock Friday when Paralympic athlete Hollie Arnold was the first star to be eliminated by viewers, with former Eastenders actress Jessica Plummer crying after Hollie’s departure.
And emotions ran again 48 hours later when Ant and Dec headed to Gwrych Castle to reveal the results of the public vote.
After all the celebrity names were removed, only Ruthie Henshall and Beverley Callard were left and the boys revealed that it was West End actress Ruthie who was leaving.
And while it wasn’t too much of a surprise that Ruthie received the loot from I’m A Celebrity, with the odds that the bookmakers were spot on, viewers were upset that Coronation Street legend Beverley a who the bookies liked from the beginning, was in danger of returning home.
One tweeted: “Beverly was in the bottom two ?! Are you screwing with me ?! Talk to you guys !!” and, another stunned viewer reacted: “Beverley was between the bottom two? Shocking!”
A third published: “How was #Beverley in the last two? “but others took to Twitter disappointed that she wasn’t the one.
One viewer tweeted: “Beverley on Bottom 2, tomorrow night, please take her out !!!” And okay, another reacted: “If Beverley doesn’t get voted tonight, I’m going to riot, what is she doing in that camp? Absolutely nothing.”
