Strict judge Motsi Mabuse will be replaced in the show that has been revealed as she isolates herself at home after an “urgent” trip to Germany.
As a result, he will not be in the studio for at least two weeks until his quarantine period is over and he will miss the next two live shows.
She said on Twitter on Thursday: “Hi guys. Earlier this week I needed to travel to Germany for an urgent reason.”
“Of course I will follow UK government guidelines and isolate myself for 14 days. I will be watching from home and by the power of technology it should be in your living rooms.
“But be careful, I’ll be doing my hair and makeup!”
A spokesperson told Mirror online: “Motsi had to make an essential trip and will now be isolated for 14 days according to government guidelines.”
“We look forward to welcoming you back to the Strictly studio in a few weeks.”
The Sun online claims that Anton Du Beke will replace the star, after his removal earlier in the series, while the BBC has yet to confirm this.
Motsi is still scheduled to appear on the show virtually, but will be absent from the studio as Judge Bruno Tonioli, who is still in the United States.
It comes as Katya Jones and Nicola Adams were forced to leave the series today, after Katya tested positive for coronavirus.
Nicola has tested negative, while she must remain in quarantine for 14 days as she has been in direct contact with Katya.
It Takes Two’s host, Rylan Clark-Neal, also isolates himself, after coming into contact with someone with the virus.
Gethin Jones has replaced Rylan on the show until he returns, while no one will replace Katya and Nicola.
Earlier today Nicola said, “Hey guys! I’m absolutely devastated. My Strictly journey has come to an end so soon. I had so much more to give and so many people to earn this for!”
“But I just want to say a huge thank you to Katya for being the best dance partner anyone could ask for.

“She took me out of my comfort zone and it has been an incredible experience.
“I am heartbroken to be out of the competition, but in these unprecedented and frustrating times as it is, the COVID measures in place are to keep everyone safe, and I am doing what I can to help.
“I will spend the next 14 days isolating myself, so I would like to apologize in advance for the ridiculous amount of TikToks that I will be posting, in my new free time when I’m not gaming!”
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday on BBC One.
