Jordan, 25, was harassed and beaten to death by louts Kai Denovan and Cameron Matthews during one night in Retford, Notts, after he previously agreed to a joke that Denovan made himself in a pub. about being a “fat redhead.”

The former Huddersfield Town player suffered a skull fracture and brain damage and died shortly thereafter in hospital in the early morning of January 25.

Today, 10 months after the tragedy, Kelly revealed to the Daily Mirror the girl Jordan didn’t even know was on her way.

Fighting back tears, Kelly told the newspaper: “Everyone says how much Maisie looks like Jordan. She has her hairline and the shape of her face.”

“My heart breaks when I think how much I would have loved her. We have all been so deceived.

“He loved his family, mine, and wanted nothing more than to create ours.

“Now, thanks to the brutal jealousy of two bullies, I am left without the love of my life and Maisie will never meet her adorable, funny and kind dad.”

Kelly also revealed that the tragic death of the semi-professional footballer has given life to others as an organ donor.

On July 31, Denovan, 22, and Matthews, 21, were jailed for 11 years and eight years and three months respectively after being convicted of involuntary manslaughter at Nottingham Crown Court.

Jordan had proposed to Kelly at Christmas just four weeks before her death and had gone out with her and her friends to the market in town to celebrate.

In her last moments with Kelly, she performed her favorite song Sweet Caroline at karaoke.

Jordan and two friends later went drinking at nearby bars when Kelly went home around midnight.

CCTV showed Denovan and Matthews following the friends to The Vine pub around 1.40 am, and prosecutors described them as a “chasing and demanding retaliation pack.”

The brute told Jordan that he was a “handsome boy” and that he would have no problem “attracting girls”, unlike him, who was “fat and red-headed”.

Falsely believing that he was participating in jovial jokes, Jordan replied, “Yes, I can see that.

The court heard that Denovan’s comment was a “deliberate honey trap” to provoke a fight.

Denovan then “was immediately enraged” and hit Jordan twice in the face before Jordan and his friends made it out of the pub.

The thugs then followed them to a nearby carryout location and restarted their attack.

Denovan hit Jordan again and Matthews hit him “two or three times,” causing the footballer to hit his head on the pavement as he fell backward to the ground.

Jordan was rushed to the hospital, but pronounced dead with his family by his side around 6 p.m. on Saturday, January 25.

“But most heartbreaking than anything, a father for his unborn child.

“And what a great dad he would have been.”
