The teenager was stabbed at the West Ham station at 6:50 p.m., while the other victim was found at the Abbey Road DLR station half a mile down the road shortly thereafter.

Both were taken to the hospital where they remain after being treated by paramedics.

Police and ambulances rushed to the station and a crime scene was set up.

London Metropolitan Police said: ‘Police were called to West Ham tube station at 6:51 PM on Saturday 5 September to receive reports of a stabbing.

Officers attended along with the London Ambulance Service. A teenager was found with stab wounds.

He was treated on the spot before being taken to the hospital. We await an update on its status.

A short time later, another man with stab wounds was found at the Abbey Road DLR station. He was also treated by paramedics before being transferred to the hospital.

Transport for London said: “Jubilee line and DLR trains do not stop at West Ham station due to customer incident.”

The British Transport Police and the London Ambulance Service have been contacted for comment.
