A teenager was stabbed to death in north London on Monday night, prompting a murder investigation.
Met Police were called at 8 pm to North Road, Islington, and they found a young man suffering from stab wounds.
The teenager was treated at the scene by paramedics, but was later pronounced dead.
Officers are working to establish the man’s identity and inform his relatives.

Forensic teams and officers search crime scene in north London Monday night
The Met has launched a murder investigation. No arrests have been made. There is currently a police cordon in place.
A Met Police spokesperson said: ‘Officers were called at 8pm on Monday September 14 to North Road N7, after a man, believed at this stage to be a teenager, was found with stab wounds .
He was treated by paramedics at the scene, but despite his best efforts, he was pronounced dead.
Officers are working to establish the man’s identity and inform his relatives.
“At this early stage there have been no arrests.
“There is a crime scene and an investigation is underway.”
