Fantasy Premier League managers have confirmation of the last £ 4.0 million starting defender as Pascal Struijk (£ 4.0m) features in midfield for Leeds United tonight.
In his pre-match press conference, Marcelo Bielsa promised that the budget option would be the replacement of Kalvin phillips (£ 5.0 million), who will be out for up to six weeks with a shoulder injury.
While most of FPL’s attention will be on Jack grealish (£ 7.2 million) and Emiliano Martinez (£ 4.8m) tonight, each owned by about 25% of the managers, Struijk’s credentials will be worth assessing, especially with Max kilman (£ 4.1m) turning heads at Wolves.
Omens initially seem relatively strong for Grealish and his differential teammates Ollie watkins (£ 6.0 million), Ross Barkley (£ 6.0 million) and John McGinn (5.5 million pounds sterling).
Not only is Leeds without its key defensive midfielder Phillips, the club’s captain and first-choice center-back Liam cooper (£ 4.4 million) could not get over his groin injury.
That has forced Marcelo Bielsa to put together a kind of improvised back-four, especially with center-back Struijk playing in midfield.
The tweak sees right side Luke ayling (£ 4.5m) join Robin koch (£ 4.5 million) in between, Stuart dallas (£ 4.5m) changing flank to fill the void there and Ezgjan Alioski (£ 4.4 million) enters the left-back.
Aston Villa’s defense, which has kept three clean sheets out of four possible so far, remains unchanged.
That means another start for Emiliano Martinez (£ 4.8 million), Matt Targett (£ 4.5 million), Ezri Konsa (£ 4.6 million), Tyrone mings (£ 5.2 million) and Cash matty (£ 5.0 million).
After five Gameweeks this season, Villa’s two centers are in the top three with the most points per million spent among defenders.
