Seann Walsh has come under fire from a domestic abuse charity after his girlfriend shared a clip on Instagram of him strangling her.
The 34-year-old star and comedian Strictly can be seen grabbing Grace Adderley’s throat and throwing her on a bed before looking at the camera.
Grace, 25, captioned the video ‘wrestlemania’ and is seen laughing as she stands up, however, Solace Women’s Aid has described the clip as ‘disturbing’.

Charity spokeswoman Shaista Aziz told The Sun: “ Glamorizing choking women and grabbing them by the neck is starting to be more prevalent in images posted on Instagram and social media and by high-profile people.
“Violence and violence against women and girls should never be normalized in any way – it is disturbing to see these images.”
In the video, which has audio commentary as if it were a wrestling match, Seann is seen shirtless as he puts one hand on Grace’s neck and one under her arm.
He then tosses her onto the bed, with the brunette immediately giggling at the action and as she recovers.

Seann made headlines in October 2018 when he was photographed kissing his professional Strictly Come Dancing partner Katya Jones on a night full of alcohol.
The couple faced a huge backlash, given that Katya was married to strictly pro Neil Jones, and Seann was dating Rebecca Humphries at the time.

Appearing on Richard Herring’s Leicester Square Theater podcast late last year, he detailed how his mental health was affected by the shocking incident, confessing that he still sees a therapist and feels deep regret about it.
He said, ‘Of course I’m in therapy! You can not pass [a scandal like that] and not be. But people seemed to be strictly enjoying themselves. I was very sorry and I still feel it.
Shortly after the scandal, the comedian issued an apology in which he blamed his actions on alcohol, calling it ‘unique’ and ‘mistake’.
The dance expert echoed the sentiments, claiming she regretted the “pain” she had caused by her actions, but insisted that her marriage to Neil was “absolutely fine.”
After the kiss came to light, Seann was publicly dumped by his girlfriend of five years, Rebecca, and Katya separated from her husband of six years.
