Strictly Maisie Smith star was “arrogant” at EastEnders audition

Maisie Smith has admitted that she was “arrogant” when she first auditioned for EastEnders.

The actress plays Tiffany Butcher on the BBC One soap opera, a role she landed when she was just 6 years old.

She can currently be seen competing in the series of Strictly come dance, and during the first live show on Saturday night (October 24), he released details about his first EastEnders hearing.

In addition to recalling that she was a “cocky little sassy” when she auditioned, Maisie revealed that she “threw” her script aside, which apparently impressed the producers.

“I’m probably best known for playing Tiffany Butcher in EastEnders“Maisie said.

“I first appeared in EastEnders in 2008 when I was 6 years old. When I first auditioned, I was a cocky shameless.

“I strutted there, threw the lines aside and said, ‘Guys, I know you.’ They said, ‘This is the one.’

Maisie finished second in the standings during Strictly come danceopening episode, very close to HRVY.

Speaking previously, Strictly Judge Shirley Ballas warned Maisie not to allow her victory in the Strictly Come Dancing: Children in Need Special get to your head.

Maisie also revealed that she expects the judges to “criticize” her performances.

EastEnders airs on BBC One. Strictly come dance continues at 7.15pm on Saturday (Nov 1) on BBC One.
