Strictly Come Dancing stars Ranvir Singh and Giovanni Pernice narrowly missed a spot in the final on Sunday’s results show that left many viewers heartbroken.
Good Morning Britain’s Ranvir fell to the bottom of the rankings on Saturday night, as each pair did two dances each.
Ranvir and Giovanni danced a Jive and a Waltz, for which they obtained only 18 and 26 respectively from judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse.
At the tense dance, Ranvir and Giovanni performed their Vals to Un Giorno Per Noi by Josh Groban, and Jamie Laing and his partner Karen Hauer performed their Salsa to Last Dance by Donna Summer in an attempt to impress the judges and stay in competition. . .

Craig Revel Horwood decided to save Jamie and Karen, saying, “Well one of course made a fabulous, explosive sauce, the other couple did a wonderful, delicious, dreamy waltz.
“I think both couples could not have danced those dances better than tonight, it was amazing and I want to see them both in the final.
“I would like to save Jamie and Karen.”

Motsi Mabuse decided to save Ranvir and Giovanni, and said, “Well this was really a difficult decision, we had two beautiful dances, two beautiful human beings and I will save Ranvir and Giovanni.”
Head Judge Shirley Ballas had the deciding vote and decided to save Jamie and Karen.
She said, “Well again, this is very difficult because I have grown to love both couples.

“I’m getting pretty emotional right now.
“Musicality, determination, conviction of both teams, they gave it their all.
“But I feel like a couple had a little more determination, a little more, ‘I’m not leaving without that trophy’ and with that in mind I’m saving Jamie and Karen.”
When Tess asked her about her time on the show, Ranvir said, “I’m really sorry for him. [Gio]He’s worked so hard and been to so many finals that I’m really sorry I couldn’t do it for you. I’m sorry.”
Giovanni replied: “You don’t have to regret anything, we have both worked very hard, it has been an absolute dream to work with you.
“You are a true hero, your work at 3 in the morning then you walk into the room and dance with me.
“More than anything you have grown as a person and this for me is the most gratifying thing I can ask for, very well done for you. Well done.”
Looking back on his time on the show, Ranvir said: “There are some really beautiful moments in there and so much more than I expected and I’m sad that I’m not in the final.
“But at the same time, I am glad that we have moved people to tears and the Argentine tango was an incredible moment.
“We’ve had some really great memorable moments and I know I couldn’t have gotten this far without you.”
When asked if he had any words for Ranvir, Giovanni gushed: “I really hope from this experience that you feel like a better person because you really are an amazing person inside and out.
“Yes, you have grown as a dancer but I hope you feel happier in your life because you deserve it.”
Viewers were heartbroken for Ranvir as one tweeted: “I’ve watched this show for years and I can easily say this is the most foolish decision I’ve ever seen. Professional dance judges were supposed to vote on a DANCE-OFF. on the best DANCE … and two of them voted for anything but. Ranvir DANCED with his heart #Strictly“.

Another wrote: “I am so devastated that ranvir was voted because shirley ranvir had improved so much and really deserved to be in the final #strictly“.
