Strictly Come Dancing stars Ranvir Singh and Giovanni Pernice narrowly missed a spot in the final on Sunday’s results show that left many viewers heartbroken.

Good Morning Britain’s Ranvir fell to the bottom of the rankings on Saturday night, as each pair did two dances each.

Ranvir and Giovanni danced a Jive and a Waltz, for which they obtained only 18 and 26 respectively from judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse.

At the tense dance, Ranvir and Giovanni performed their Vals to Un Giorno Per Noi by Josh Groban, and Jamie Laing and his partner Karen Hauer performed their Salsa to Last Dance by Donna Summer in an attempt to impress the judges and stay in competition. . .

Head Judge Shirley Ballas had the deciding vote and decided to save Jamie and Karen.

Giovanni replied: “You don’t have to regret anything, we have both worked very hard, it has been an absolute dream to work with you.

“More than anything you have grown as a person and this for me is the most gratifying thing I can ask for, very well done for you. Well done.”

Looking back on his time on the show, Ranvir said: “There are some really beautiful moments in there and so much more than I expected and I’m sad that I’m not in the final.

“But at the same time, I am glad that we have moved people to tears and the Argentine tango was an incredible moment.
