The Spurs were rotten. Everton was great. We have mails on both and more. Send your thoughts to [email protected]
Give Arsenal the title
Top of the league in alphabetical order. I say the season ends now. With coronavirus cases getting high again, it’s the only ethical thing to do. Any life that is risked is one more life. That is still the case, right?
We would have an asterisk next to our name, but I would be willing to accept it.

Please help
So Willian had an assists triplet. Did he do it? All of this got me thinking about what constitutes an aid. The first goal was blocked by a shot that landed on Lacazette. Is that a help? Yes and no? I mean, you didn’t intend for it to fall into Lacazette’s hands, did you? I wanted to score. Parting hairs, but it has a little wheel spinning on my head.
Second goal without a doubt. Cross, one touch later the ball is in the net.
Third goal, he throws a good pass wide, Aubameyang finds the corner higher than that of a certain Frenchman. However, was it a help from Willian? Aubameyang still has a long way to go to score that goal. To take an extreme example, if someone passes the ball to Messi, beats 4 defenders and places it, will the other receive the assistance? How far back do you get on the play? What are the thoughts of other mailboxes?

What was that Tottenham?
The Spurs were totally, absolutely abject against Everton; that second half is one of the worst things I’ve ever had the misfortune to see. There is no shame in losing narrowly to this talented Everton team, but it is a total humiliation to lose in such a dull, bland, uninspired and totally aimless way.
Tottenham looked like a not very good high school team – each player knows roughly where to play and then chases the ball in a rough 4-4-2 fashion with no further plans or ideas. They had no idea what they were supposed to do. They had no idea where a goal could come from.
Jose has had two transfer windows and 10 months with these players, what are the Spurs trying to do? What have you been doing with them over the summer? What is their style, their identity… what are they good at? It is not about maintaining strength or knowing how to defend, it is not strength in possession, or in counterattack, or in creating opportunities in the area or in pressure. In the past, Mourinho’s teams could often be called on ‘just finding ways to win’, but this is the kind of team that takes the lead twice at home against the Wolves and loses 2-3.
Rather than combine Pochettino’s naive and carefree level of high performance with a bit of great game, trophy-winning steel, Mourinho has managed to scrap all the positives while keeping that Spurs core element of no bottle.
With any coach worth his salt, it should be easy to identify what kind of soccer he wants to play after almost a year in office. In Pochettino’s first season, when the results weren’t extraordinary, at least you had a complete idea of the kind of changes he was trying to make and what he wanted the team to look like. So far, Mourinho has managed to back up his mediocre results with an unseen brand of football and tops it all off with a massive c ** t.

Dizzy for Everton
Well, what a difference a month and three signings make. The Spurs stayed chasing shadows. That was us last year. I know it’s just a game so it’s not going overboard, it’s a huge win for us. Everton have signed players in the past, but the only problem Everton have had since Moyes is mentality. We don’t have a winning mentality. Hopefully hiring Carlo Ancelotti, a proven winner, will change the mindset. Today was a good first step.
Special mention to Jordan Pickford… excellent partner for him !!!

However, how much for Richarlison?
Someone tell me that Barcelona’s € 85 million offer for Richarlison a few months ago was a satire… and that Everton rejected it was only to rub off his ridicule. There is no conceivable shape in this universe that was solid.
What have you been smoking for years in the camp nou?

Could Bale make a Coutinho?
A Bale’s season loan to Manchester United makes a LOT of sense. The fluidity of Utd’s current three forwards means that any of Greenwood, Martial and Rashford could rest, drop or rotate without a drop the size of Lingard or James in the quality of the starting 11. This is very important for a particularly compressed national and European season in which Utd needs to finish third / fourth in the EPL and QF / knockout stages of the Champions League for Ole to justify Utd having an upward trajectory.
Bale’s short term suits Utd this season. Buy Sancho does not. One is young and inexperienced in the Premier League, the other will start to work. Buying Sancho would feel more like a replacement for the starting lineup (likely for Greenwood), while Bale’s age and injury history suggest that everyone will have plenty of playing time. Greenwood is still only 18 years old and it seems like he needs the right balance of development on and off the field, especially now that he’s starting to appear on the front pages rather than the last (laughing gas rumors today). I think Greenwood wouldn’t see Bale “stealing his position” like he would Sancho. I also imagine that Daniel James would be in awe of his national hero and would probably learn a lot from him (shoot, pass, use a 3 Iron…).
The most important thing is that Bale must be playing. I know he’s happy pocketing stupid money and loving his golf and Madrid sun, but they really should play world class players. We all get lost when the football elite doesn’t show up.
Best of all, with the lack of rules for the Champions League cup tie, you can imagine him doing a Coutinho to Zidane and company when Utd meets Real in the round of 16. Imagine the celebrations. They would need a new flag!

Does Klopp lose the plot?
I have always stood up for Jurgen Klopp, but after reading his post-match comments, I feel like he may be losing the plot. The full quote:
“The bottom line played for England, Holland and Scotland four days ago, all the best teams but different ways of defending.”
Scotland? A superior team? Come on Jurgen, we are absolutely diabolical.

Condolences to DD
So I was enjoying my traditional Sunday reading of the gorgeous F365 mailbox, accompanied by a responsibly sourced Ethiopian coffee and a sourdough sausage sandwich. Put me in the support you want, but I like to prepare a scene.
I was enjoying the two Liverpool fans losing their shit to the F365 writers writing articles based on your own opinionsand tell their version of the game they saw. It is a growing trend, for which I have reprimanded the supporters of my own team and do not like it. It’s an article about sports, don’t let it ruin your day.
Anyway I rambled, where was I? Oh yeah, I was enjoying the emails, a return to dissecting the results, the enthusiasm for Mike Bloody Dean and the Duck pointing out the rather odd trend of the helmet on display among the excellent Leads team, when I saw myself , with my name verified in an email. early doors, and I was saddened to read the rest or paragraph.
Let me say my condolences to DD, I hope he can soon get over the loss of his faithful canine friend.
To be honest, that was the whole reason for this email. Nothing more related to football to say. I just wanted to offer a few words of kindness to a fellow fan.
Take it easy, mailboxes, life is too short.

Liverpool’s defense was good
First game of the season last year, Liverpool beat Norwich at will, but also gave Norwich plenty of chances. Norwich did not take advantage of all their opportunities and Liverpool were described as an unbridled winner.
In the first game of the season this year, Liverpool swept Leeds but also gave them some chances. Leeds scored almost every time and is Liverpool’s defense considered silly?
Norwich had 12 shots, 5 on target. Apparently almost triple the xG of Leeds. They were rubbish when finished. Leeds ended incredibly well. Give them your credit and accept that Liverpool’s defense hasn’t changed much.

More mailbox thoughts
It really seems easy enough. Leeds was very positive and it will be a breath of fresh air, both for the team and the manager. Across the Pennines, City is a soulless club, despite having some brilliant players. It does not feel earned and therefore has no value.
By the way, it’s funny to see Liverpool fans, reigning champions at last, complaining about City being promoted for the title. Jesus guys, you won. Suck it. You are there to get hit now. Enjoy!
Finally, would it be okay if the site started developing some new jokes? Phil Neville’s ladder joke is over 10 years old.
