Snow could be on its way to Coventry and Warwickshire on Monday (December 28).
The Met Office has issued a yellow snow and ice warning that starts from midnight tonight until 6 p.m. tomorrow.
Any rain, it is said, “can turn into snow, which, along with widespread ice, will lead to potential disruptions to travel and utilities.”
Forecasters say some roads and railways are likely to be hit with longer travel times by road, bus and train.
There are also likely ice patches on some untreated roads, sidewalks, and bike lanes.
It will also be a very cold day tomorrow with temperatures not exceeding 2 ° C and Coventry is not expected to see the sunlight that we are enjoying today (Sunday).
