It is not the most compelling of the side laps. Although without problems.

Bad distribution from the right side.
Keane 7
Typically solid from Everton’s Mr Dependable.
Mine 7
He dealt well with the limited threat from Sheffield United.
Godfrey 7
Clear of the line, although McGoldrick would be ruled offside, and defended with his now usual style of action.
Iwobi 5
He would have had Everton’s only shot on goal, but otherwise struggled to influence.
Doucoure 6
A lot of energy and aggressiveness, but he needs to use the ball better.
Davies 8
Much better than almost everyone else on the field. Good half.
Gordon 6
Often surrounded when receiving the ball. Everton need to design one-on-one situations for the youngster.
Sigurdsson 5
For much of the half, he did not give Everton the direction and quality that Ancelotti expected.
Calvert-Lewin 6
Half calm, with little serve, but came to life when he athletically knocked the ball down with Keane arrows, but his volley went off target. It would have been a great goal.
