I’m A Celebrity aired its second elimination on Sunday night, when Ruthie Henshall was voted out of Castle Wales.
The star accepted the news, excited to have a burger, as hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly confirmed they would be leaving the show at that time.
As their campmates said goodbye, Ant and Dec headed to the studio for the exit interview.
With the show coming to an end this week, Ruthie is only the second star to leave after seeing Hollie Arnold kicked out of the show on Friday.
Ruthie called her camping experience “brutal” but praised the camaraderie with her co-stars.
Ant and Dec joked that they wondered who would play her on the Netflix series The Crown after her comments about her affair with Prince Edward.
She said, “I’ve never talked about it, never. It was Shane!”
She didn’t think she would spill the beans, either, but laughed when Dec called the comments “gripping.”
Unlike other years, there is no one saluting the stars on their way out due to coronavirus restrictions.
When Hollie left her friends behind a few days ago, many of them, including Jessica Plummer, were moved to tears, and so was Ruthie.
They confessed to having noticed the absence so much, even though there are still 11 of them there.
Now only 10 stars remain, before the final live that will be broadcast on ITV next Friday.
I’m A Celebrity airs every night at 9pm on ITV.
