The Everton and West Ham teams of the day are beginning to approach their full power from their scores from Game Week 17.
James Rodriguez (£ 7.7m) is back for the first time since Gameweek 11, although he’s only fit enough for a spot on the Toffee bench.
For now, Bernard (£ 5.8m) takes his place on the right side of Everton’s offensive midfield, joined there by Gylfi sigurdsson (£ 6.8 million) and Richarlison (7.8 million pounds sterling).
It’s not clear yet how long until Rodriguez will be ready to start games regularly, but Fantasy managers will surely have him on their radars.
However, anyone who has invested in Michael keane (£ 5.1m) will be disappointed in Carlo Ancelotti’s team selection at Gameweek 17, with the center-back named to the bench for the first time this season.
Mason Holgate (£ 4.8m) hides from his recent right-back role to form the heart of the defense with Yerry Mina (£ 5.6m) with Seamus coleman (£ 4.8 million) making his first start since Gameweek 8.
It’s a similar story with West Ham which once again features Michail antonio (£ 6.2 million) in the bank, making it a seventh straight outing for Sebastien haller (£ 6.1 million), but it suggests that they could soon return to full power.
Fantasy coaches will certainly be on the lookout for that situation, especially with West Ham’s enticing matches at Double Gameweek 19, where they host Burnley and West Bromwich Albion.
David Moyes has remembered Vladimir coufal (£ 4.7 million) to the lineup, having rested him against Southampton but Issa diop (£ 4.3 million) and Fabian Balbuena (£ 4.4 million) are outside the initial XI, Craig dawson (£ 4.5m) impressing enough at his Gameweek 16 audition to hold his place.
