Leeds United delivered another message to the rest of the Premier League on Saturday night when they took a point from title contenders Manchester City.
The Whites again put on a brilliant performance against one of the best teams in the division and made a compelling case for taking all three points at Elland Road.
There were goals for Raheem Sterling and Rodrigo in West Yorkshire, but these are some of the moments you may have missed from the match.
Harrison communicates with his boss
Jack Harrison is still technically a City player and was therefore unable to face his parent club on Saturday.
Instead, the winger played the full 90 minutes in Premier League 2 with the under-23s on Friday, but still showed his face to watch Saturday’s game.
Watching from the lower section of the West Stand, Harrison was seen talking to Brian Marwood during the break.
Marwood is Managing Director of World Soccer at City Football Group, the holding company that manages the Premier League giants among other clubs around the world.
After three consecutive loan deals over a season, Harrison is expected to finally seal a permanent move to Elland Road next summer.
Orta’s message to Rodrigo bears fruit
Once Rodrigo was sent to look for Marcelo Bielsa just under 10 minutes into the second half, he trotted down the touchline from the northwest corner to the benches.
As he walked up the line, soccer director Víctor Orta took the opportunity to get up, lean over the barrier in front of the directors box and shout a long message of encouragement in Spanish.
It is true that within minutes of being on the field, Rodrigo had scored the tie. You can imagine Orta’s reaction at the booth.
The altercation of De Bruyne and Bielsa
Without hearing what was said, it is assumed that Kevin De Bruyne and Bielsa were arguing over a throw-in decision.
The Belgian international could be seen raising his hand and gesturing for Bielsa to be quiet as the latter protested with the midfielder and Mike Dean over the decision.
De Bruyne’s shirt stays in West Yorkshire
Mateusz Klich had been tasked with following De Bruyne for much of the night and continued with that job after the final whistle.
The Polish international had been substituted before the end, of course, so when he re-entered the field at the end, he headed straight for De Bruyne and made clear what he wanted.
Instead of exchanging the open view on the field, de Bruyne instructed them to exchange closer to the tunnel and away from the main chambers.
Poveda gives Guardiola a point
Ian Poveda made his Premier League home debut for the Whites when he emerged at halftime in place of Ezgjan Alioski.
The diminutive winger impressed and was based on what have been a number of promising demos during this period.

However, one of the most moving moments of their evening came after the final whistle. Poveda was approached by Pep Guardiola.
Guardiola had worked with Poveda for several years, while the latter was on the sidelines of City’s first team before moving to Elland Road in January.
Sharing a few seconds with his former and distinguished boss after an excellent display would have meant a lot to the ambitious young man.
