Ricky Gervais has tackled the latest After Life conspiracy theory and has made things clear for confused fans.
The 58-year-old writer and director of the show responded to intrigued viewers of the Netflix show who believe that Anne, the lady from the cemetery, is a ghost.
The actor confirmed that the character, played by Penelope Wilton, is not a ghost in the dark comedy series.
Ricky, who admitted that he is a big fan of the theory, explained: “No, it is not. I love that conspiracy theory and it could happen.”
But the comedian revealed that it would never happen in After Life, adding: “Not one of my things. That would be weird, unless I did a real fantasy that had ghosts and angels, that it might someday.”
