The mother of a teenager who has not been seen for over a week has asked the public for help in finding the son who “is desperately missing.”
Richard Okorogheye, a student at Oxford Brookes University, is believed to have left his family home in the Ladbroke Grove area of West London on the night of Monday March 22nd and was last seen getting on a bus.

Detectives investigating the 19-year-old’s disappearance have released new images from the night he disappeared.
Investigations have identified Richard leaving his home and heading towards Ladbroke Grove around 8:30 pm on Monday last week.
In the last confirmed sighting, Richard was seen boarding the number 23 southbound bus in Ladbroke Grove at 8.44pm.
CCTV footage shows that he was wearing all black and had a black wallet with a white Adidas logo on the lower back. It is unknown at which stop he got off.
He is known to visit the Westminster and Hammersmith and Fulham areas, and officers have increased patrols in the Kensal Road and Ladbroke Grove areas.

In a statement, his mother Evidence Joel said: “Richard, we love you and miss you so much, please can you come over to the house? We are not mad at you. We just want to know that you are okay.”
“To anyone reading this, we desperately miss our son. If you know anything or know where he might be, please come over and talk to the police.”
Richard suffers from sickle cell disease and is said to have been struggling with the shield since last March due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Ms. Joel told Sky News that she left without her medication, a jacket, or money and that her disappearance was highly out of place as she only left the house to receive monthly blood transfusions for her condition.

In a desperate plea for him to come home, she tearfully said, “He is my baby, he is my treasure. He is my oxygen, he is my crown. He is everything to me, he is the reason I live, the reason I live. for which I exist “.
Detective Chief Inspector Nicki Beecher of the Met’s West Area Public Protection Unit said: “Our officers continue to work around the clock to locate Richard and bring him home to his concerned family.
“We are looking forward to speaking with anyone who has been to Ladbroke Grove at the time of Richard’s last known sighting as captured above; they may be able to help us track his next steps.”
“If Richard is safe and sound, we ask that he contact us urgently so that we can reassure his family.”
