Reguilón benched as Gameweek 6 continues to hurt FPL managers

[ad_1]

The latest and unfortunate turn of events in Fantasy Premier League week 6 is a Monday night bench for Sergio Reguilon (5.6 million pounds sterling).

More than 120,000 Fantasy coaches selected the Spurs left-back for the sixth week of the game, inspired by his role in the 6-1 win at Old Trafford and the 3-3 draw with West Ham.

However, José Mourinho had other plans, selecting Ben davies (£ 4.8 million) on the left side of his back-four at Burnley.

Serge aurier (£ 5.2m) has suffered the same treatment, replaced on the right-back by Matt doherty (£ 5.8 million).

Fortunately, the rest of the Spurs team mostly lines up as we expected with the pair of Harry Kane (£ 10.9 million) and Son Heung-min (£ 9.5m) selected at center forward and left wing respectively.

All eyes will be on the right side of Burnley’s defense tonight as Matt Lowton (£ 4.4m) enters his first start to the season.

His preparation for this game has not been ideal as he recently returned to training from a knee injury, forced into action against the Spurs with Phil Bardsley (£ 4.5 million) and Gameweek 5 stand-in Erik pieters (£ 4.4 million) losing.

Ben Mee (£ 4.9 million) remains absent, so Kevin Long (£ 4.5 million) is James tarkowski‘s (£ 5.4m) fellow central defender once again as Charlie Taylor (£ 4.5 million) continues his extended career as the first-choice left-back.

Burnley XI (4-4-2): Dad; C Taylor, Tarkowski, K Long, Lowton; McNeil, Brownhill, Westwood, Gudmundsson; Wood, To Barnes.

Tottenham Hotspur XI (4-2-3-1): Lloris; B Davies, Dier, Alderweireld, Doherty; Højbjerg, Sissoko; Son, Ndombele, Moura; Kane.
