Rapper Nick Blixky was pronounced dead after police found him on the street with fatal gunshot wounds.
The up-and-coming 21-year-old musician will release his first Different Timin mixtape to fans on June 3 when he was found seriously injured in the torso around 9.30 p.m. Sunday night.
Nick, whose real name is Nickalus Thompson, was discovered on Winthrop Street at Prospect Lefferts Gardens in Brooklyn, New York, police said.
He was rushed to NYC Health & Hospitals / Kings County, where he sadly died.

Images filmed by a witness apparently after the shooting show two police officers stopped in the middle of an intersection with what appears to be a body in the middle of the road.
Officers walk around the body with flashlights, as the witness tells the camera: “He appears to be dead. He was shot seven times.”

A man claiming to be Nick’s brother Nasir Fisher confirmed the tragic news of his death in a poignant Facebook post.
“It broke my heart,” he wrote, according to the New York Post.
Rest in peace with my brother Nick Blixk. Take care of me, brother.

Nasir, who calls himself Nas Blixky, also shared an Instagram photo of himself with his brother, writing, “I love you forever.”
Nick’s last Instagram was posted just a couple of hours before his death.
In it, he enthusiastically shared the promotional cover of his new mixtape, subtitling: “JUNE 3 I am going to drop my first film LOCK IN THE DATE DIFFERENT TIMIN (COMMENTARY IF YOU ARE READY) # BG4L # HOMETEAM # TWIRLWITME”.
No arrests have yet been made in connection with Nick’s death.
