Pregnant Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank mysteriously left Frogmore Cottage just six weeks after Harry and Meghan loaned it to them ‘to start their own family’.
Eugenie, 30, and her husband Jack Brooksbank, 34, moved into the five-bedroom house in Windsor in November after a direct deal with the Sussexes.
Now, just six weeks later, they left the Grade II listed home and returned to Kensington Palace, according to The Sun.
Pregnant Princess Eugenie, 30, and her husband Jack Brooksbank, 34, and Princess Eugenie, 30, have mysteriously left Frogmore Cottage after staying only six weeks.
The couple had moved into the Grade II listed five-bedroom house in Windsor (pictured) in November after a private agreement with the Sussexes who loaned it to them to “ start their own family. ”
The couple, who were married at St George’s Chapel in October 2018, are expecting their first child in the new year and were said to be ‘delighted’ with Frogmore Cottage.
However, a source told The Sun: ‘It’s empty again. Why doesn’t anyone want to live at Frogmore Cottage? What happens to this place?
It was understood that Eugenie and her cousin Harry reached a “private agreement” on Frogmore Cottage, although it is not known how long it will last.
At the time of the move, Harry and Meghan, who currently reside in a £ 11 million mansion in California, said they were ‘delighted’ to ‘open their house’ while in America.
Frogmore Cottage was a gift from the Queen to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, prior to their wedding in May 2018, and remains her residence in the UK.
Meghan and Harry spent £ 2.4 million from the Sovereign Grant on renovations at Frogmore Cottage, an outlay of public money that became controversial after they resigned as royalty in March.

But the Sussexes reimbursed taxpayers in full for the Windsor house renovation in September.
A source said Harry and Meghan will keep Frogmore Cottage as their home in Britain, and suggested that when they visit the UK they will share it with Eugenie and Brooksbank.
One insider said: ‘Frogmore was outfitted to the likes of Meghan and Harry with their son Archie in mind, making it the perfect place for a couple to raise a baby.’
However, Princess Eugenie packed her bags and moved back to London after just six weeks at the cottage and was spotted shopping in Kensington, west London, ten days ago.
The couple who married in St George’s Chapel in October 2018 are expecting their first child in the new year and were said to be ‘delighted’ with Frogmore Cottage but have moved back to London.
According to The Sun, it is understood that Princess Eugenie and Jack could still return to Frogmore Cottage after Christmas.
The move to Frogmore Cottage brought the couple closer to the princess’s parents, who live four miles away at Royal Lodge, Windsor Great Park and less than a mile from Windsor Castle, where the queen is locked up with Prince Philip.
Eugenie and Jack had been living at Ivy Cottage in Kensington Palace before moving to Frogmore Cottage.
Buckingham Palace declined to comment and sources said it was a private agreement between Eugenie and Harry.
