PRINCE Harry said that life has “dramatically changed” for all of us during the coronavirus crisis, as it marked what would have been the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games.

The Duke of Sussex shared the video message on his Twitter account when he addressed fans of his new home in Los Angeles.

Harry urged his “Invictus family” to take care of each other after the games were postponed as a result of the pandemic.

They were scheduled to take place in The Hague, The Netherlands this week, but have been delayed until 2021 due to the spread of the virus.

The competition, created by Prince Harry in 2014, brings together current and former wounded, wounded or sick veterans from more than 20 countries around the world.

In the video, Harry said: “By commemorating VE Day this weekend and paying tribute to the service and sacrifice of the entire generation of World War II, we should also have gathered in the Netherlands to launch the Invictus 2020 Games in The Hague. ” .

“Life has changed dramatically for all of us since the last time I was in The Hague, but the IG 2020 team has done an amazing job of adapting so quickly to the situation, and they are busy preparing plans for next year.”

He added: “The new dates will be shared with you very soon. I hope all members of the Invictus family will cope well and support each other during this difficult time.”

The Duke of Sussex also told his Invictus family to make sure they “supported each other” during this difficult time.

He continued, “You guys are the best at this, so I have no doubt that everyone is coming together and supporting each other.”

Harry also paid tribute to the “amazing health professionals” around the world who helped cope with the coronavirus crisis.

It comes after Prince Harry moved to Los Angeles last year with his wife Meghan Markle and one-year-old son Archie.

The family reportedly lives in a luxurious Beverly Hills mansion owned by Hollywood magnate Tyler Perry.

Recently, the couple was photographed delivering food packages to those at high risk of contracting coronavirus, as well as taking their beloved dogs for walks.

A source told the Mail Online: “Meghan and Harry have been extremely cautious about keeping their Los Angeles base a secret.

“They have been at this property for a month without anyone knowing.”
