President Trump and Melania test positive for Covid

ORPresident Donald Trump is at a higher risk of being hospitalized and dying from Covid-19 due to his age, gender, and weight.

The 74-year-old man falls into the high-risk group simply because he is male, and men are twice as likely to die from coronavirus as women.

However, your biggest risk factor is your age, and experts conclude that age is by far the strongest predictor of an infected person’s risk of death.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says that people ages 65 to 74 have a five times greater risk of hospitalization from coronavirus compared to those ages 18 to 29, and a 90% higher risk of death.

For people aged 75 to 84, the risk of needing hospital admission increases to eight times, with a 220 times higher risk of death.

Trump is also overweight, although his doctor, Sean Conley, told reporters in June that he is healthy.

Conley reported that Trump weighed 110.7 kg (17.6 pounds).

Reporters calculated that, at 6 feet 3 inches, the president was slightly above the obesity threshold.
