An unknown man with a Liver Bird tattoo on his leg was found unconscious today, and detectives are desperately trying to identify him.
The man, roughly between 35 and 45 years old, was not responding in Preston around 10 a.m. M.
Lancashire police were called to the rear of the Lookers Volkswagen garage on Blackpool Road after they found the man.
The man is currently fighting for his life in critical condition in hospital and the police have appealed to identify him and find his loved ones.
The force said: “The man was taken to Royal Preston Hospital and is in critical condition under treatment. At this time, the incident is being treated as unexplained.”
He has been described as white, of medium build and with a black Liver Bird tattoo on his right leg.

Officers have also released pictures and described the clothes she was wearing.
A statement read: “He was wearing gray Everlast sweatpants, a white and gray England soccer jersey, a gray and black Everlast hoodie, a black fur-trimmed hooded jacket, white and blue striped socks, and Asics shoes. blue and white with an orange sole.
“He was wearing a blue and black ‘No Fear’ backpack.”
Preston Police Detective Inspector Paul Whitehead said: “We urge anyone who recognizes the man described to come forward immediately.
“Despite having carried out a series of investigations, we do not know who he is.
