Sir Keir Starmer returned home yesterday in his damaged SUV after colliding with a Deliveroo rider.
The photos show a dent in the wheel arch on the driver’s side of his Toyota Rav 4 and a large scratch.
The Labor Party leader is facing questions about the accident, which occurred on Sunday while he was allegedly making a U-turn on his way to a famous tailor.
Police are investigating the collision, which took place near his home in North London. Yesterday Sir Keir was seen there for the first time since the accident. It is believed that he spent the previous two nights elsewhere with his family.
Sir Keir Starmer was seen returning home to North London yesterday after being involved in a collision with a Deliveroo cyclist.
Footage that followed the collision showed a dent in the driver’s side wheel arch and a large scratch on the Labor leader’s Toyota Rav 4.
Sir Keir was allegedly performing a U-turn on his way to a famous tailor when he was involved in the collision near Kentish Town, north London on Sunday.
After the incident, the cyclist is said to have yelled, “How did you not see me?”, Before being taken to the hospital in an ambulance clutching his injured arm. He suffered minor injuries and was released the same day.
Sir Keir exchanged details with the cyclist, but left the scene before the police arrived. Later, his office claimed that he had spoken to a British transport police officer before returning home.
In fact, he had spoken to an off-duty police community support officer, who was not wearing a uniform.
Later, two Metropolitan Police officers went to Sir Keir’s address and left him a note asking him to attend his local police station, which he did that afternoon.
Yesterday, it became known that the cyclist involved in the accident was a driver of the Deliveroo food delivery service and was riding an electric bicycle.
Sir Keir was on his way to a “private appointment” with his tailor, Stitch & Clean, when the accident occurred around noon Sunday.
Sir Keir collided with a bicyclist while attempting to make a U-turn near a busy intersection with traffic lights, eyewitnesses said.

The politician had been making a turn on Grafton Road when he collided with the bicyclist. Sir Keir exchanged details with the cyclist but left the scene before the police arrived.
It took place between The Grafton pub and the adjoining OYO Camden hotel with two eyewitnesses who claimed that Sir Keir was driving on the opposite side of the road and was trying to turn his vehicle when he struck the cyclist.
The Labor leader’s spokesman said he had spoken to a ‘British transport police officer’ at the crash site, however, BTP has said it was an ‘off-duty’ PCSO.
The haute couture alterations service has a number of celebrities among its clientele, including actor Jude Law and actresses Gillian Anderson and Billie Piper, as well as Labor heavyweights Ed and David Miliband.
The incident occurred on Grafton Road in Kentish Town, near a junction that prohibits right turns.
A shift to the right would have led the former Director of the Public Ministry directly to his appointment at the tailor shop.
A witness told the Daily Mail that Sir Keir made a U-turn and the collision with the cyclist occurred when his car was “in the middle of the road.”
However, a Labor Party source said Sir Keir was not making a U-turn and was parking instead.
The witness said: ‘The bicyclist hit the car from the driver’s side. The side door was damaged and worn. When I went to see what was happening, I heard the cyclist say: ‘How did you not see me?’
Sir Keir then backed up his car and parked. He looked like he had just come back from the gym and was wearing a black aviator jacket. ‘
He added: ‘Then I went to finish taking the groceries inside and in ten minutes he was gone. The rider was almost crying, holding his left arm in pain. He seemed angry and very upset.
‘In the end, the traffic police, two police vans, three or four police cars and an ambulance appeared. If I had to do that, I would get in trouble. I can’t believe he left so early.
The Metropolitan Police have confirmed that an investigation is being carried out by the Force’s Highway and Transportation Surveillance Command.
A spokesperson said: ‘The driver of the car stopped at the scene and exchanged details with the cyclist, but left before the officers arrived. The cyclist was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The driver later went to a North London police station. He was not arrested or interviewed under warning.
A Deliveroo spokesperson declined to comment.
