England’s soccer hero Gascoigne broke down when he told the Sunday People that his father’s belongings ‘meant a lot’ to him and said he would ‘really like them’.

The raiders’ loot included a £ 2,000 gold cigar cutter and a watch, both owned by his late father John, according to the Mirror.

They also took home a £ 40,000 diamond-encrusted gold watch purchased with their first Tottenham paycheck and a Glasgow Rangers championship medal.

Gascoigne went to London to support his longtime friend Vinnie Jones, 55, as he filmed his Life Stories chat.

It is understood that the police came to his home on Tuesday.

The thieves took five watches, two bracelets, three rings, diamond earrings, £ 800 designer sunglasses and a genuine New York Police Department insignia, the former footballer said.

And they also took two steaks out of the freezer, according to Gascoigne.

Piers told the Sunday People that he was “sorry to hear” the theft and the least he could do was “buy her some new steaks.”

This comes right after the England legend looked in a good mood when he got a new love heart tattoo on his left wrist.

He visited South Coast Ink Super Studio in Bournemouth to add the artwork to his collection.

Last month, Gazza came out publicly in support of her 24-year-old son Regan, who revealed during a television interview that he is bisexual.

In November, her son spoke openly about his sexuality in a newspaper interview, followed by an appearance on Lorraine Kelly’s ITV show.
