One change each for Villa and Southampton when Walcott starts over Redmond

Bertrand traore (£ 5.9m) has been handed over his first league start since signing for Aston Villa, replacing Trezeguet (£ 5.4 million) for Sunday’s lunchtime celebration in Southampton.

Head coach Dean Smith had remained with the same starting eleven when he faced Liverpool, Leicester and Leeds, but has chosen to select the summer arrival from Lyon.

The back five have kept three clean sheets in five games, a total second only to a Wolves team that has played seven times. Emiliano Martinez (£ 4.8m) is the FPL’s top-rated and most selected goalkeeper, boosted by his penalty save against Sheffield United.

In front of him, both Tyrone mings (£ 5.2 million) and Ezri Konsa (£ 4.7m) have already contributed a goal to Villa’s impressive start, while talisman Jack grealishThe 24-point (£ 7.3 million) loot against Liverpool has put him in almost 30% of teams.

That incredible 7-2 win over the champions also brought a goal from Ross Barkley (£ 6.0m), which provides a cheaper and more interesting route into the Villans’ midfield. With consistent minutes and the possibility of penalty, the borrower could soon be an attractive option.

The big question is whether Patrick BamfordLeeds’ hat-trick (£ 5.9 million) last week has brought them back to Earth after a 100% winning start.

Southampton’s only change is to replace Nathan redmond (£ 6.4 million) from the team that beat former leaders Everton 2-0 at St Mary’s. The winger missed previous matches due to an ankle injury, but remains on the bench here, with Theo Walcott (£ 5.8 million) taking his place.

With blows just Moussa djenepo (£ 5.4 million) and Will smallbone (£ 4.5m) and lack of matchmaking for the new signing Mohammed Salisu (£ 4.3 million), coach Ralph Hasenhuttl has also been able to name consistent lineups.

The clean sheet against the Toffees was the third of four games, responding brilliantly to their 5-2 collapse against Tottenham on Gameweek 2.

This has provided regular returns for the popular Alex McCarthy (£ 4.5 million) and Kyle Walker-Peters (4.5 million pounds), although the latter has already received three yellow cards.

Up front, only a trio of forwards have accumulated more points than Danny Ings (£ 8.5 million). Despite a big preseason price hike, it still offers a reliable option for Fantasy managers. His 22 goals from last season have added to the four this time, taking a break last week to help the two goals against Everton.

ASTON VILLA XI (4-2-3-1): Martinez; Cash, Konsa, Mings, Targett; Douglas Luiz, McGinn; Traore, Barkley, Grealish; Watkins

SOUTHAMPTON XI (4-4-2): McCarthy; Walker-Peters, Vestergaard, Bednarek, Bertrand; Armstrong, Romeu, Ward-Prowse, Walcott; Adams, Ings
