A neighbor who lived near a noisy house that was used as a center for drug trafficking has spoken of the nightmare residents were trapped in.

The property, in Ellesmere Port, was hit with a lockdown order following complaints of antisocial behavior and drug activity.

Officers from the Local Police Unit (LPU) received a lockdown order for the home on Briarfield Road on Friday, November 13.

The warrant was requested after officers assembled a catalog of evidence regarding the gruesome behavior associated with the property.

A resident on the road, who did not want to be named, said CheshireLive neighbors had to endure terrible behavior for years.

The neighbor claimed that people who lived near the house had a constant fear that their homes would be damaged, that their property would be stolen, and that they were too scared to let their children out on the streets.

He said, “It’s been hell. It’s been going on for years.

“I used to call the house the cooperative because it was more crowded than the store. People came in and out at three, four, five in the morning.

“There was damage to cars, robberies in gardens and fights in the streets that would end in cars.

“The neighbors were constantly afraid to go out at night, we would be too afraid to go out.

“We were also in constant fear of property damage and too scared to let the children out due to what was happening inside the house.

“Nobody loses sight of their children.”

This home on Briarfield Road in Ellesmere Port received a closure order for antisocial behavior on Friday

The resident said that many of the neighbors had to put additional security in their home due to what was happening at the home.

They claimed that the drug activity in the home would attract large groups of people and the noise from industrial stereos and people yelling to be let into the property kept residents awake at night.

Police confirmed that there had also been a number of serious assaults on the Ellesmere harbor property, which were persistently used by both drug dealers to supply class A drugs as a basis for drug users to use.

Following the order, all windows and doors on the property have been bricked up and will remain that way for three months.
