Ms Zaghari-Ratcliffe’s family recently suggested that her arrest could be linked to Iran’s negotiations with the British government on a £ 400 million deal in London, a payment made by the late Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi for the tanks. Chieftain who were never delivered.

Tehran has denied that his imprisonment had anything to do with the negotiations.
