Detectives investigating a large explosion in Nashville say they have identified a person of interest, according to the AP news agency.
Researchers have received more than 500 clues and are now putting together the “giant puzzle.”
The explosion, what it happened on christmas morning – originated from a motor home that had issued a warning that it was going to detonate in 15 minutes, sending people running to evacuate.

Three people were taken to the hospital, although they are not believed to be seriously injured, and dozens of nearby buildings were damaged.
The motive for the attack is not yet known.
US Attorney Don Cochran said the scene was “like a giant puzzle created by a bomb” and that FBI and ATF investigators were working to piece together what happened.
There are approximately 250 FBI agents, analysts and personnel working on the investigation, and there are skilled bomb technicians in Nashville.
At a press conference the day after the blast, FBI Special Agent Doug Korneski said there were no indications of further explosive threats and that no other devices had been found.
Authorities said on Friday they had found “tissue” that could be human remains near the blast site, but did not comment further on this during the press conference.
There is a three-day state of emergency in place.
The explosion happened on Christmas Day.
Officials praised the actions of the police officers to ensure that no more were injured as they attempted to evacuate as many citizens as possible after the threat was reported.
Cochran said the officers “literally ran into danger,” adding that he was “fairly certain that their actions are one of the reasons why there was less loss of life.”
The blast sent broken glass and debris into the air and damaged around 40 nearby buildings, with video showing rooms shaking and people crying in anguish.

Authorities have said the explosion was a “deliberate” act intended to “bring chaos and fear into this season of peace and hope.”
A three-day state of emergency was imposed at the scene of the explosion, preventing the entry of people.
