Hayley Wejs, 32, struck one of her 10-year-old children against a car window and struck the other 13-year-old in the face after the girls complained they were not allowed to go swimming.
One of the girls said, ‘You are the worst mom ever!’ during one of the rounds.

She was also sentenced to three months in jail suspended for one year and ordered to complete 12 days of rehab to help her deal with her tantrums.
The attacks occurred in August last year after Wejs and her new boyfriend took the two girls and their older brother on a 10-day family break at St Ives Holiday Park.
Wejs will be electronically tagged over Christmas after she subjected her young daughters to ‘punishment’ blows during a family beach holiday in Cornwall.
Wejs was on vacation with her boyfriend, her 10- and 13-year-old daughter and her older brother.
The problems began after girls living with their father in Wythenshawe, Manchester, complained about a planned day trip to the fishing village of Mousehole when they wanted to go swimming instead.
Prosecutor Geoff Whelan said: ‘The older girl described an incident involving her mother that occurred in a KFC parking lot. She said she had been sitting in the back of her mother’s boyfriend’s car with her sister and brother.
His mother was sitting in the front passenger seat. She said her sister was upset that their mother had prevented them from going swimming to take them somewhere else to take photos.
The younger girl told her mother to ‘fuck’ herself more than once and the older girl described her mother removing her seat belt and approaching the younger girl, grabbing her hair and banging her head against the roof of the car. and then slamming her face against the window, causing her face to flush.
Wejs admitted that the assault was ordered to wear a tag for three months as part of the curfew from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. He was also handed a three-month jail suspended for a year.
The family got out of the car and the younger girl drove away crying and there was an argument between the older girl and her mother resulting in the defendant grabbing her by the ponytail and dragging her back to the car.
Later that day, the older girl said she was in the caravan lounge area when an argument broke out because she wanted to see some friends she made while on vacation.
But her mother said ‘no’, then grabbed her with a key, slapped her and bit her cheek. The older girl said she hit her mother and pushed her, but then her mother punched her in the nose.
The older girl came into the bedroom and felt dizzy, could not breathe well through her nose and saw blood. He called his dad to tell him what happened.
The youngest girl said her mother went crazy with her when they were in the car as they were about to enter KFC. She said her mother slapped her and pulled her hair.
Wejs admitted that he does ‘punish’ children, but said he never leaves marks and bruises
She said her mom hurt her and told her mom that she was “the worst mom ever.” She said her older sister told her mom to leave her. He said he ran into a bush before the mother’s boyfriend told everyone to get back in the car and told them they were being embarrassed.
Later, back in the caravan. the younger girl said she overheard an argument and saw her older sister running into the room and crying saying her mom had hit her. ‘
The older girl complained of a sore nose and a black eye was seen when the children returned from vacation. Later, Wejs told police that they had sought to go to Mousehole, but the daughters were upset because they wanted to go swimming with friends.
Mr Whelan added: ‘She said the younger girl had been repeatedly insulting her. She warned him but swore again. He said he turned around to give his daughter a clip around her ear, but said it made contact with her forearm.
They said they had their KFC and then they went to Mousehole to walk on the beach and claimed everyone was getting on. She spoke about her separation with the boys’ father and claimed that he had poisoned the girls against her.
Wejs who live with Universal Credit had previous assault and battery convictions
He said he punishes children, but says he never leaves marks or bruises. He said that he used to send them to bed when they were naughty, but nowadays he took away their phones or forbidden them to use the internet. Although the prosecution accepts that there was a certain degree of provocation on the part of the daughters, there was a breach of trust ”.
Wejs who lives with Universal Credit had prior assault and battery convictions. The court had since been in contact with the children under supervision. As mitigation, she claimed that she had been punished by her mother as a child. The court heard that there had been difficulties in his relationship with the children’s father.
Sentencing Judge John Potter told Wejs: ‘You lost your patience and behaved in a violent and unforgivable way with your two children. There is a checkered background when it comes to his domestic arrangements, but whatever the history may be in regards to his relationship with the children’s father, this offers no excuse for the way he behaved with vulnerable victims under your care.
These girls are not your equals. Simply saying, “well, I think sometimes my daughters deliberately break me off” or “their father has poisoned their minds,” to put it bluntly, is not the point. He must behave in a much more mature manner than he did.
If you don’t, it will hurt them more and more. It is totally, totally indefensible to abuse children, whatever it is that you may feel at that moment. ‘
