The mother and son had not been seen or heard from them for more than two weeks, police said.

Initially, a family member called officers late on Sunday to express concern for Ms. Sivaraj’s well-being.

Neighbors told Mail Online that they had overheard the couple arguing during the lockdown.

One of them told the news site: “I heard her yelling at her husband, telling him to take the medicine. Then another time she threw them out the window, I looked down and I could see them on the ground.”

Caption: Officers broke into a residential address on Golden Mile House, Clayponds Lane around 12:50 AM on Tuesday, October 6 due to concerns for the well-being of the occupants. Inside the address, officers found the bodies of Poorna Kaameshwari Sivaraj, a 36-year-old woman, and her three-year-old son, Kailash Kuha Raj. They also found a 42-year-old man with stab wounds. Despite the best efforts of officers and the London Ambulance Service (LAS), she died at the scene. Another said: “Things got really bad between them, especially during the closing.

“They are one of the few couples with a young child on our block and you could hear each other screaming, sometimes for very long periods.”

One resident claimed that officers had told him there was blood “all over the floor” and that the family dog had been killed.

Police attended the address “several times” in the early hours of Monday, but got no response and, after speaking with neighbors as the day progressed, they grew increasingly concerned and decided to break in, the Met said. .

It has been referred to the police watchdog, the Independent Office of Police Conduct, on the belief that Sithamparanathan was fatally wounded when the officers entered the apartment.

The family lived in Clayponds Lane, Brentford

Family members have been informed of the deaths and post-mortem examinations are scheduled to begin Thursday.

Detective Chief Inspector Simon Harding of the Met’s Crime Command said: “Although we are in the infancy of this investigation, it appears that Poorna and Kailash had been dead for some time.

“This is a murder investigation and my team will work diligently to establish the sequence of events that led to his murders and the death of Kuha Raj Sithamparanathan.

“Our initial investigations have established that Poorna and Kailash had not been seen or heard for some time, perhaps since around September 21.”

He said the family had often been seen walking their mongrel dog in the local area and asked anyone who had seen them in the past month to contact the police “so that we can begin to build a complete picture of their lives. “.

He added that “words cannot sufficiently sum up the devastation this horrible incident will have on the families of those involved.”

Police and forensic officers were at the scene Tuesday.

Neighbors at Golden Mile House previously spoke about their shock after the death of the family of three.

Sheri Diba said the family was “very friendly” and she used to watch them regularly walk their dog.

She told the PA news agency: “I’ve always seen them in the elevator. They were very nice. They said ‘Hi, how are you?’ I always saw them walking together.

“I feel very bad (hearing the news) because they were very nice and nice people.

Ms Diba, a mother of one, said she had lived in the building for seven years and described it as a “nice area” but said she had not seen the family for several months.
