Paris Saint-Germain are in talks with Everton about a possible loan deal for forward Moise Kean.
The deal could include an option for the Ligue 1 champions to buy the 20-year-old at the end of the loan.
Kean has played 13 minutes in the Premier League this season as Everton have won their first four games. Despite scoring two goals in the Carabao Cup, the Italian international does not appear to be part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans.
Kean came to Everton from Juventus on a five-year contract last summer, but was unable to establish himself at Goodison Park after a disturbing debut campaign.
Although he appeared in 29 league games last season, he only found the net twice when former coach Marco Silva was fired and replaced by Ancelotti.
French champions PSG have seen the contracts of Edinson Cavani, who appears set to join Manchester United, and Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting expire, and they seem eager to launch their attacking options, which already include Neymar, Kylian Mbappé and Mauro Icardi.
PSG also had an interest in Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko earlier this window and they are continuing their efforts to sign Tottenham’s Dele Alli as both players have apparently fallen out of favor at their respective clubs.
Spurs reject Alli’s second loan offer from PSG
Tottenham have rejected a second loan offer from Paris Saint-Germain for Dele Alli.
Sky Sports News has confirmed a report in the Telegraph, with the French champions stepping up their interest in the England midfielder ahead of Monday’s deadline.
It is understood that Spurs are convinced that Alli will not leave the club and is expected to fight for his place under José Mourinho.
