Curtis Jones also starts in midfield after his cameo from the bench at Selhurst Park last week.
The teenager is joined in a midfield by three Gini Wijnaldum and captain Jordan Henderson.
Naby Keita is completely lost due to a fitness issue, but Xherdan Shaqiri is fit enough to take a spot on the bench for the first time since early November.
James Milner is also among the Reds’ backups.
