MELANIE Sykes has returned to the UK alone after enjoying a six-day adventure with a gondolier in Venice.
Former brewery girl Boddington, 50, was seen crossing her lips with Riccardo Simionato, 23, on the trip.
But after a week of Italian passion, Mel wore a lonely figure today while running errands in London in his Fiat 500.
In a pair of ripped jeans with a white jacket, she still had her Christmas glow while showing off her tanned arms.
Earlier this week, she told fans that she was only feeling “a little queasy” after meeting her handsome gondolier last Saturday.
She was still with him on the last day of their vacation Thursday, when they were seen arm in arm.
Riccardo, when asked by the Mail on Sunday about the affair, said: “I don’t remember. I meet a lot of people. “
He was not at all concerned about the 27-year age difference.
Riccardo added: “Beauty is relative.
“Perhaps what is beautiful in your eyes is not beautiful for me.”
He was traveling from last Saturday to Thursday in the romantic Italian city.
Melanie was divorced twice and has two children, ages 18 and 16.
He needed a break after getting into a war of words with Celebrity Juice host Keith Lemon, saying he had a “limited vocabulary.”
He later responded, saying that that hasn’t stopped him from winning “two Baftas and two NTAs,” which is more than Mel can claim.
Comic Leigh Francis, who plays Celebrity Juice host Keith, has revealed that he sent Mel a private message after she made her comments in an interview over the weekend.
He said, “I went up to her and asked her why she didn’t like me. She said, ‘It’s not you, it’s your on-screen character.’
Well, if someone is watching and you have a limited vocabulary, you can still win two Baftas and two NTAs. I don’t want to brag about all the things I’ve earned. “
Mel, the ex of Olly Murs and Steve Coogan, said in her interview: “Sadly, in all walks of life, most men are pretty basic and disappointing.
“I feel a little sorry for British men who have adopted the limited vocabulary of the television character Keith Lemon when talking about women.
“It would surprise me, and indeed it would be a miracle, if any of these men actually had sex.”
But Keith, who made Channel 4 hit Bo ‘Selecta !, has returned to what he does best and has taken the dispute lightly.
He joked that the upcoming I’m A Celebrity series, to be filmed in Wales, will have a Bush Tucker trial with Mel.
On an Instagram Live, he said: “You may be stuck in a dungeon with Mel Sykes, who says you have a limited vocabulary and have to convince her that you know a lot of words.
