Meghan Markle paid tribute to the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, calling her ‘a judge of courage’.
“With an unparalleled and indelible legacy, Ruth Bader Ginsburg will always be known as a brilliant woman, a judge of courage and a human of deep conviction,” Markle said in a statement to the media.
“She has been a true inspiration to me since I was a child. Honor her, remember her, act for her, ” he continued.
Markle, 39, currently lives in Los Angeles with Prince Harry and their son Archie, after the couple resigned as royalty in March and moved to North America.

Ginsburg, the second female judge appointed to the Supreme Court, is widely regarded as a feminist icon.
Prior to her appointment to the high court, Ginsburg argued six gender equality cases in court.
Markle was just one of many voices raised to pay tribute to the late judge.
Democratic Party vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris and her husband, Douglas Emhoff, joined the crowd in front of the steps of the United States Supreme Court in Washington on Saturday morning.
Ginsburg was “a titan, a tireless defender of justice and a legal mind for the ages,” Harris wrote in a tweet with a photo of the visit.
Others on the steps of the Supreme Court carried candles, flowers, posters, and small children. Some showed up in running and biking clothing, on a detour from their morning workout.
Ginsburg, 87, died Friday night after a battle with pancreatic cancer, giving President Donald Trump a chance to expand the conservative majority of America’s top court at a time of deep divisions. in the United States, as a presidential election looms.
Mourners announced Ginsburg’s groundbreaking legal career and voiced dark concerns about the future of the country.
“I’m heartbroken,” actress Jennifer Lopez wrote on Instagram. “She was a true advocate for gender equality and she was a strong woman for me and for all the girls in the world to look up to.”
