The Masked Singer UK made a strong comeback on Saturday night with six new contestants taking the stage with their identities concealed within elaborate costumes.
And the second celebrity was unmasked when Seahorse was revealed to be former Spice Girl Melanie Brown, 45.
Grandfather Clock, Bush Baby, Harlequin, Blob, Seahorse and Viking all sang for a chance to stay in the competition.
Following their performances, judges Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan, and Davina McCall made predictions about who they believed was behind the mask.
When three couples went head-to-head in song, the last three were created as the audience chose their favorites from each battle.
This left Seahorse, Harlequin, and Grandfather Clock in the bottom three.
Then the judges decided who the loser was and they were finally unmasked.
Mel B was revealed to be the Seahorse, leaving the judges totally shocked.
“I thought I had dressed up pretty well with my voice and accent, and trying not to be like me, I guess I didn’t, right?” Mel said, as Mo had guessed it was her after her performance of Kylie Minogue’s Can’t Get You Out Of My Head.
Jonathan had strenuously denied that it was Mel, so even when he removed his mask, he claimed that “it’s not Mel B!”
“Sometimes when you are too iconic, you are too iconic!” Rita assured him.
“I’m very surprised, but at the same time I’m glad you guessed me!” Mel said.
“You have a very different accent in the way you speak,” explained Mo, who had picked up on his northern accent.
Mel explained his clue, which was “I once stole toilet paper from the house of a total legend”, as he had taken the toilet paper when he visited Nelson Mandela.
Host Joel Dommett asked Mel why she had done the show, and she replied, “The show is a great show, and you really can’t be yourself for a second.”
When asked what the other Spice Girls would think, Mel laughed: “They’re probably mad because I didn’t tell them!”
One fan tweeted: “I had no idea Mel B could have been the seahorse! The clue pack totally blew me away.

“Mel B AS SEAHORSE. SHOOK ME #MaskedSingerUK“wrote another.
A third added: “I would never have guessed Mel B for Seahorse #MaskedSingerUK “.
