Police found a man who had been stabbed. Despite attempting to be revived by rescuers, the man died at the scene. The police have not given more details about the victim, however, they are trying to locate his relatives.
There has been an arrest, a man in his 50s, who is now in police custody.
Police officers monitor the crime scene.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 2 pm Sunday November 22 to Harrow Road, Kensal Green to receive reports of a stabbing.
Officers from the London Ambulance Service and the London Air Ambulance attended and found a man, without further details, suffering from stab wounds.
“Despite the efforts of the emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene.”
The Metropolitan Police added: “Investigations are being carried out to trace his relatives.
“A 50-year-old man has been arrested in connection with this incident and is in police custody.
“Officers remain in the area while investigations continue.”
Reports from today’s scene said members of the public inside the cemetery when police arrived were not allowed to leave.
Speaking to MyLondon, a witness said: “The police let people out and took details.”
A witness said armed police arrived at the scene.
Police installed a cordon at an entrance to the cemetery.
