Klopp for PM
I have to say, I’m starting to look at Klopp and wonder if the days of getting praise for something are long gone.
He’s doing a fantastic job under the circumstances, but he marks himself from left to right to center no matter what he does. Last year, weak team in the cup, absolutely mistreated on social networks for not playing a strong team. This year, he plays a rotated but still strong team, scheduled (from his Joe williams, Among others).
I don’t think Klopp is asking for sympathy, he is asking for equality. Wilder has a dig at Klopp, Klopp backs off. “Oh look at Klopp, putting the little man down.” José complains about arbitration decisions, haha look at José doing what he does. Klopp does, “he won’t stop moaning.”
The government will always be criticized for not doing the opposite of what it has done, regardless of the outcome, as those who cannot do it always think they can do better, and it seems Klopp is now on that boat too.

To hell with the narrative … Klopp was right
You’d expect to see some pundits lash out at Klopp for having a solid lineup and say that negates what he’s been saying about accessory stacks this season, but it’s a sham to see a smart website like F365 following the pack. Klopp’s general message is correct: There are too many games this season in too short a time frame. This could have been avoided if the EFL had decided to rule out the Carabao Cup or the UEFA Nations League. Neither of them did, and in a way that’s fair enough since both organizations need the money.
Klopp’s point remains valid, however, that trying to fit in ten months of matches in nine months with a small preseason and then an international tournament summer at the end is detrimental to the well-being of the players and to the overall quality of the sport. . (although it has led to a more exciting title race than two of the last three years).
Klopp’s secondary point is that broadcasters have a responsibility to try to maintain reasonable breaks between games. Again, there is an argument against it: broadcasters pay for the product and have the right to use their slots to promote what they consider to be the accessories most likely to earn viewers and thus advertising revenue.
So on both points, Klopp is making valid arguments, and while there are points to the contrary, they are beyond his ability to fix them (he doesn’t control UEFA, EFL, Sky or BT Sport). However, Klopp’s overwhelming priority is to win football matches for Liverpool Football Club and, more than that, to win trophies for Liverpool. No expert is inside Liverpool’s training ground or has access to the medical records of every player at the club. Yes, players were at risk of injury, but players are at risk of injury every time they enter the field. Players also need rhythm and form. Fabinho is still a (very good) work in progress at center back and Klopp may well have thought another game under his belt would be a good thing. Liverpool played (terribly) on Monday and, apart from Villa’s game, they have no other until Sunday week. Leaving players out of shape without a game for 13 days before the biggest game of the season so far is also a risk and, perhaps Kopp calculated, a greater risk than playing Villa’s kids.
At the present time, Liverpool have a (mini) crisis of form, they do not have a crowding of parties. They have played 5 games in 21 days and when they play Man Utd they will have played 6 games in 30 days (1 game every 5 days). Brighton’s game came in the middle of a period where they played 6 games in 18 days (1 game every 3 days). You don’t have to be a sports scientist to figure out that the first period was much more likely to cause injury than the second.
Klopp’s picks against Villa do not ‘undermine much of what he has previously said about match congestion and injuries’ and will not if Liverpool ask to play again on Wednesday night and Saturday lunchtime. . Suggesting otherwise is simply lazy, narrative journalism that this website should be on top.

Perspective
Read Sean’s email in the mailbox. It was a good read until I got to the end. He says that “right now, being a Liverpool fan is difficult.” I mean really Sean, is your club really in that bad shape? ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿????
Your most important player, the player who leads from the front like Keane, defends like a clone of Ferdinand and Vidic together, showing up with important goals all the time he’s out for most of the season along with so many other casualties across the field. Even though his team is the top of the table and is a favorite to win the league, his team advanced to the next stage in Europe again at the top of the group and is probably one of the 2 or 3 teams that can stop Bayern, advanced to the next round of the fa cup.
I mean, what else do you need? Get some perspective. See what happened to the city when they failed kompany, see what happened to chelsea when hazard got injured or was not playing well, see what happened to my man utd when all the team leaders left after fergie! !!
I wouldn’t mind my man being attached at Liverpool’s position right now. Happy New Year mate !!

Well inside, Villa
I feel like Villa should be commended as a club for not simply losing their cup game due to covid.
I think this idea should be extended to the Premier League, especially when the reason the city failed to come up with a solid first 11 was because their team member decided (again) to host an illegal viral super spreader Christmas party.
I wonder, would the city have been so quick to contact the FA if their choice had been to form a youth team or win the points? This lack of real consequences for hosting super spreader events means that players will continue to do so. And teams will continue to condemn them publicly and with complete apathy behind closed doors because why worry about something that has no consequences? For the city in particular, it is actually a benefit to move an important game to a date in the future when Aguero is likely to be fit and play again.
Change the rules and not only will we see more games played and fewer changed at a later date (in a season that doesn’t have time to do this), it will also greatly increase the control that teams will exert over their players and decrease the amount of super spreading parties that gamers stupidly keep throwing

Politics boxes
Appreciate that F365 has always had a reputation for turning around those in power in the world of soccer, but I also really appreciate the recent spike in slightly more scathing visions of things happening in the world and opinions. of principles without shame for things like The Karen Carney debacle (damn, what a fucking show, Dave’s article was spot on).
“ Staying in football ” has always gotten me stuck, and being a lover of American sports (where, in general, the stars don’t give a damn about your fantasy gear, conservative opinions, or your precious worldview ), the UK has always lagged behind in supporting those who use one of the few platforms available where minority / under-represented voices demand and receive attention. At this point, mainstream media seems to be poised to resist this, which is why places like F365 poking their heads over the parapet and saying ‘This really sucks, what are we doing here?’ they are great.
Add to that that most football fans are generally great people (potentially even a reasonable number of Millwall fans) as seen in all things trusted by charity supporters (I see a lot of Arsenal stuff, but I know which is replicated across other fan bases) and further sheds light on the bitter and miserable world of tabloid football journalism.
So keep connecting, it’s a pleasure to read.

Do what I say, not what I do
I loved how Anthony called someone who said resting Eric Baily was a shame, but they went on to say that Bruno Fernandes needs a break. Brilliant contradiction detected.
However, Anthony fell into the same trap by suggesting that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is doing a better job than José Mourinho, Louis Van Gaal and David Moyes, but he wants people not to compare him to Alex Ferguson because that era is over. They have all been paired with their ages.
Sarcasm aside, I completely agree with the sentiment about the general overreaction these days.

What is the point? Seriously, what’s the point. Was it using 8 intersecting blue and red lines to triangulate the body position of various players? Like hell it was.
Perhaps the rule needs to be revised because it is ridiculous that you can be considered to be gaining an advantage when your feet are in the side position.
I’m not going to bother watching games. It doesn’t make sense as you can’t get involved when the game is happening. I will check the result and see the highlights if they are worth it. Seriously fuck this.

Buy: Christian Erikson for the lols but really Erling Haaland as he is clearly the best young forward on the continent. [Mike didnt say i had to be realistic]
Sell: Okay, about 6 players could go here, so really just start with the biggest losses in salary, but no Ozil, I’ll miss the tweets! So David Luiz and / or Willian. If we go to 4 at the back then Luiz doesn’t make the squad but he could have a future as a coach and Willian clearly only suits the American league. [neither will leave]
Loan: easy. Ainsley Maitland-Niles should be able to decide on a position and go on loan to play that position and then it’s good enough for us or not (although if he wants to be an expert in all trades for us, he would be happy.[ThoughifhewantstobeajackofalltradesforusIwouldbehappy[thoughifhewantstobeajackofalltradesforusIwouldbehappy
