A Liverpool hit by an injury that loses self-isolation Mohamed salah (£ 12.2 million) will face Leicester City in form in the last of four Premier League matches on Sunday.
The start at Anfield is at 19:15 GMT.
Apart from Salah, the Reds do not have the services of Trent Alexander-Arnold (7.3 million pounds sterling), Jordan henderson (£ 5.4 million), Joe gomez (£ 5.4 million) and Virgil van Dijk (6.3 million pounds sterling), among others.
Jurgen Klopp offered an update on Alexander-Arnold before the start, saying:
Fabinho (£ 5.4m) is fit, at least, and the Brazilian is paired with Joel matip (£ 5.4 million) at the heart of the hosts’ bottom line tonight.
James milner (£ 5.3 million), instead of Neco williams (£ 3.9m), gets the go-ahead to start on the right-back.
Milner and Fabinho are two of four members of the Liverpool squad to make it to Klopp’s starting eleven, and the quartet made way for all victims of injury or illness.
Naby keita (£ 5.2 million) and Curtis jones (£ 4.4 million) are the other beneficiaries of the player shortage and they line up in the midfield.
Diogo Jota (£ 6.5m) starts for the fourth time in six Gameweeks, meanwhile, joining Sadio mane (£ 12.1 million) and Roberto Firmino (£ 9.2 million) in Liverpool’s attack.
The news from the Leicester team is a bit simpler, with Brendan Rodgers making just two changes from the side that beat the Wolves a fortnight ago.
Luke thomas (£ 4.3 million) and Dennis Praet (£ 5.5 million) both fall to the bank, with Marc albrighton (£ 5.3 million) and Harvey barnes (£ 6.9 million) drafted into Rodgers’ lineup.
There is no place on the team for Timothy’s chestnuts (£ 5.7 million), however, despite Brendan Rodgers declaring that the Belgian was fit to play on Friday.
Something will have to give tonight as the 100% home and away winning records are up for grabs.
Jamie Vardy (£ 10.1 million), the most possessed player in any of the opening XIs, has been particularly potent on the road, averaging 12.75 points from away games.
